Angels over Valladolid
A theatrical Installation from Theater Anu and Bartel Meyer

Six angels appear on the roof of Valladolid’s Museo Patio Herreriano.
More than just symbols, they are figures of remembrance. Unique to the Valladolid, they embody the destinies of six writers whose literary work was closely linked to the city. Two months after the death of Miguel Delibes they alight in the Calle de Jorge Guillen – named after another ‘patriarch of Spanish literature’. The power to change the world through the written word is something often tested in the history of Spain; many of these powerful wordsmiths came from Valladolid...
Two angel researchers are on the ground, wandering around with telescopes and a huge sound-horn device. Frau Wallies and Herr Zwiebler know the angels over Valladolid. They share their knowledge of the angels and their fortunes.
